In words of an American comedian & actor Jerry Seinfeld  “There are  Four Levels of Comedy: Make your friends laugh, Make strangers laugh, Get paid to make strangers laugh and Make people talk like you because it's so much fun”.  This quote pretty much sums up what these standup comedians do to amuse our senses. The famous AIB Roast is an example of what these stand-up comedians can do in recent times. These youngsters from AIB have shown the courage to go off the beaten track to pursuit a career in stand-up  comedy. The main challenge why it’s is still in exploring phase. Standup comedy in India has never been taken seriously. Did you ever hear from anybody that I want to become a comedian? You can take a wild guess, earlier we used to have a specialist comedian in our Bollywood movies like Asrani, Johnny walker, Kadar khan, Johnny lever & lot of others. Home Transformation Journey powered by Godrej Interio

Recently I got an opportunity to attend a blogger interaction event with famous RJ Malishska at Godrej Interio office  in fort Mumbai at Godrej Bhavan, one of the key stores in Mumbai. Basically, it was an event organized by blogadda in which we got the opportunity to ask lots of questions regarding home transformation journey of Malishka's home  and how Godrej interio helped her whole transition.

We got little late because of traffic. But when reached the venue the event just started all blogger were shown a  video presentation of malishka's  new furnished flat with lots of stuff from Godrej. We were enlightened to see how the color and design has changed the overall look  of her home.

All bloggers were attended by one of the designer consultant cum interior expert from Godrej interio, she explained us how they transformed the whole interior and look of her flat without doing any structural changes. How they decided the furniture and products to give a final look. Also while exploring the showroom I found a sofa cum bed with in-built woofer sound system called plugin. The red color lounge mattress looking piece was simply superb.

In my view, I really liked the approach of giving a transformation without any structural or major change and by giving a perfect combination of color and furnishing products. Simultaneously Maliska also shared her experience of this transformation and how godrej team has helped her in getting a sober look and luxurious furnishing in a shorter span of 3 days. We asked several question as well regarding her choices of furniture and interiors, she answered convincingly all of them. Overall it was a good experience with lots of fun and full of decor tips.

Driving safely In India -Know-How

Urban areas in India especially metros are highly crowded & driving on roads sometimes seems to a job similar to a licensed pilot where he is accountable  for life of all passenger on plane including his own life. Sometimes we think that we need to drive safely on roads just to ensure we are safe,but is it correct,don't we have any responsibility towards fellow motorists & pedestrians who need safety as well .If everyone understand the need of caution & safety while on road ,its surely going to reduce the number of casualties & damage caused by traffic accidents.

Nissan India introduced Nissan Safety

Driving Forum (NSDF)which is one of the major initiatives towards changing the mindset  towards driving behavior of Indian people .Its main objective is to reduce the car accidents & thus reduce fatality & serious injuries through cars as a part of  Blue citizenship ,Nissan's CSR platform . 

NSDF  encourages drivers & motorist to wear seat belt ,and follow basic safety guidelines while driving on road under their motto of "SAFETY FIRST". It's primary focus on India youth who 

drive  without any responsibility & generally ignore safety guidelines .This initiative began in 2012 as an annual activity ,initially it covered 3 major cities of India - New Delhi,Mumbai & Chennai and gradually tend to cover other cities of India.

This year, NSDF would reach 8 new cities – Chandigarh, Jalandhar, Jaipur, Vadodara, Nagpur, Chennai, Mangalore and Kochi as marked in below image.

In my view below are some Safety guidelines,which we should follow while driving:

-Always wear Seat belt while driving 

-Do not use Mobile phones while driving 

-Keep safe distance with other vehicles on road .

-Follow traffic rules, ie.Red light , No parking etc 

-Do not overtake ,Do not tailgate on higher speed .

-Stay Alerts while driving on Wide roads ,Highways etc .

-Do not Drink & Drive ,it's against the law: If you don't know this shame on you

-Carry an attitude to co-operate with other drivers & pedestrian's on road .

-If possible use car with Air-Bag, it help in reducing injuries in case of collision .

-For new Car owners always go through the "Vehicle Owners Manual " ,you must know how your car works,also make sure it's in prime condition.

-Don't drive if you are sick or injured, or suffering from some kind of mental dis-order .

-Avoid driving if you are tired .

-Before planning long trips, always have a proper sleep & food, take regular breaks on long drives,if you feel sleepy.

-Always Drive on the left -Hand side of the road:If you don't know this shame on you

-Always turn on Headlights at  night & inappropriate light conditions such as Fog, Rain etc.

Being an Healthy Child #ImmuneIndia

Being a son of an Army Officer ,I have been travelling to almost all states of India with my family .We were two children's in my family including my elder brother . As we know Army people always like discipline ,cleanliness & time table we were bound to follow that at home .

So this was where it all started to be a healthy child .

As said by John Locke "A sound mind in a sound body , is a short but full description  of a happy state in this world "  

As you can see from heading  of my article what it takes to be a healthy child & how it creates a Joy full home with lots of happiness & healthiness ,let me give you an example how my father & his discipline from army help me to become a healthy child & today an fit adult .

I used to be very thin & slim during my childhood ,so my Mom started worrying about my health .

Those days my Dad used to bring  Dabur Chyanwanprash & some protein powders from army canteen ,which my mom started giving me with Milk .I used to hate glass of Milk ,but my Mom induced  me on one term that if I will finish the whole glass of milk ,every time I will get an extra spoon of Chyawanprash . That's how it started ,I used to finish  every single glass of milk ,just to get some extra Chyawanprash .In addition to this my dad used to take me early morning to the army training ground with him .I always wondered why my dad & other military person used to do such hardcore exercises & running ,but later I realized the importance of it .

Univercell SYNC -Ultra Modern Retail Store - My Experience

I was excited since few days to visit the newly opened  UniverCell showroom in Colaba near popular Regal cinema that to at my favourite place in Mumbai ,Basically it all started with Indiblogger contest in which all IB bloggers got an opportunity to visit the store in their city & share their experience .

I am an old customer of Univercell Online store & have purchased various products online ,but this was my first opportunity to visit the newly launched store .

This is how our weekend started  to explore the new shopping destination for Smart Phones Tablets & other Mobile  essentials  .

Once we reached the UniverCell Sync showroom ,I was surprised to see the  Ultra modern look & also got overwhelmed by the  welcome & gesture shown by staff . The store manager acknowledged our arrival with grace & enthusiasm .

I accompanied my fellow blogger ,she was also excited to see the store ,we started exploring the store by ourselves .

Later, Store manager joined us started showing each sections one by one ,So friends if you are looking for all latest Smart phone bundled with lots of exciting offers this could be the place for you .

All sections were divided based on the purchase requirement ,usage & relative value to the customer .

Based on my experience ,I found the store was divided into various special sections as per below :

This section was basically for Professionals like me ,those who want to do everything on their smart phone from MS  Office  ,Webmail ,Messaging ,Surfing ,IM Chat  etc ,things which are as feasible on Tablet .You will find a range of all Phablets(screen size 5 inch above) that suits your needs .

2)- Music : 

This section belongs to all Music lovers ,say it smart phones loaded with high quality music features ,sound box ,i-Pod's ,speakers ,High quality /wireless head phones etc . You will get everything to test & fulfill your hunger for music .

3)- New & Noteworthy :

This section was basically for all new arrivals  phones ,gadgets & accessories .

"Basically we had explored all the section & discussing some facts with Store manager at the end of our visit ,suddenly one lady jumped In ,she was in hurry ,Store manager introduced us to her saying she is the VP of Univercell (Brand strategy ) her name was Soumya ,we had casual introduction ,then she told us that we bloggers are doing great job & Indiblogger is such nice portal  .Meanwhile she mentioned that she had a flight to catch & then she turned to her staff asking everyone if they had lunch or not ,even she asked the store manager to get something for lunch . I got inspired , her down to earth nature ,inspite of being in hectic schedule & hurry  she cared for her staff .Kudos !! "



At the end when it was time for farewell ,guess guys we were not empty handed .
We got a complimentary  meal bag of  Cafe Coffee day for refreshment  containing 1 Spinach hot dog ,1 brownie, mango juice & a water bottle ....
"We luved the treat & brownie it was as sizzling as our visit to Univercell store   ..."
